The key event on University-Industry Interaction, Entrepreneurship and Innovation

With just a bit more than two weeks left till the proposal/abstract submission deadline (15th of December 2014), we are happy to confirm a wide variety of conference partners and keynote speakers.

From June 24 to June 26 2015, the University Industry Innovation Network (UIIN) will host the 2015 University-Industry Interaction Conference in Berlin, Germany. This conference is the key event for academics, researchers, practitioners and business representatives involved in university-industry interaction, innovation and entrepreneurship.

Confirmed keynote speakers include:

  • Scott Shane – Author of the bestseller “Illusions of Entrepreneurship” and Professor at Case Western Reserve Professor in Entrepreneurship University, US
  • John Bessant – Chair in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Exeter University, UK and author of the teaching, learning and practice bible “Managing Innovation”

At the heart of Berlin and Europe

The city that has recently celebrated its 25th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin wall through the release of thousands of balloons, and is one of the most creative, exciting and future oriented cities. The conference will take place right in the historic centre of Berlin with the Brandenburger Gate, Checkpoint Charlie, the Reichstag and the Museum Island all in walking distance! You will be able to enjoy the history of Berlin whilst learning about and shaping the future on university-industry interaction.

Call for Abstracts and Proposals

We are now calling for abstracts for papers, presentations good practice case studies, next practice concepts and posters. All abstracts will be reviewed by a scientific or practitioners committee and will be published, in either the conference proceedings, the good practice case study series or the next-practice book (all registered with ISBN number).The deadline for the submission of abstracts is December 15, 2014.
