Learn, share, and expand your knowledge at the 2020 University-Industry Interaction Conference

Dear conference participants,

I’d like to provide you with an update on our decisions around the 2020 University-Industry Interaction Conference and our response towards the global COVID-19 developments.

Based on current projections from several national governments in Europe and measures put in place by the airline industry, I do not feel I can uphold the quality of the UIIN conference if it were to take place in June this year. I have therefore decided to organize the first online University-Industry Interaction Conference in May / June this year.

This is a decision that wasn’t easy to make, given the importance of this event to UIIN, both financially as well as our role as a knowledge provider. Yet, where one door closes another opens, and I hope that even drastic times like these can yield positive developments. As such, I’m happy to announce the initiation of the first UIIN online conference.

Rather than all of us sitting around waiting for things to change, I’d like to turn this into something positive, and call upon all of you to join us for a few weeks of conferencing with live discussion forums, presentations from experts around the globe and networking with peers at our online social events. This event will be free of charge to all UIIN Organisational and Individual Members.

We are currently working with all speakers, moderators and other panellists to put together a revised schedule and we will be sharing this with you shortly. To stay informed on the latest developments please subscribe to the newsletter below or sign up for your UIIN membership at

With kind regards,
