UIIN will ensure that all appropriate measures, as set by the Dutch health authorities at the time of the conference, are adhered to. Keep in mind that this page will be constantly updated to stay in line with the requirements of both the Dutch health authorities and the venue.
To access the 2022 UIIC venue, attendees will need photo identification and one of the following:
- an EU Digital Covid Certificate; or
- a valid vaccination or recovery certificate issued by a third country (see the conditions here); or
- a valid negative PCR test from within the last 72 hours; or
- a valid negative antigen test from within the last 48 hours. Negative antigen tests must be presented with electronic or printed proof containing the attendee’s name and date of validity.
Arriving to the Netherlands
We strongly recommend all attendees to check the Government of the Netherlands website before travelling to the Netherlands.
Currently, the protocols for individuals flying into the Netherlands require a valid EU Digital Covid Certificate, or a valid vaccination or recovery certificate issued by a third country (see the conditions here), or the completion of an RT-PCR test (or similar NAAT test) 72 hours before boarding, or of a Rapid Antigen Test 48 hours before boarding.
All passengers arriving to the Netherlands must fill out the Health Declaration Form before departing for The Netherlands or on board.
Furthermore, the website Re-open EU will be helpful to better understand the measures that are currently in place in the Netherlands as well as to check a travel plan with detailed and updated information of the COVID-related documentation you will need for your trip.
Currently, wearing of (non-medical) face masks in public indoor spaces is mandatory in the Netherlands for anyone 13 years of age and up.
It is currently mandatory for adults in the Netherlands to keep 1,5m distance from each other, except for people living at the same address.
