Science Meets Business: Gender Equity in STEM

FIRESIDE CHAT with Marguerite Evans-Galea & Jacyl Shaw

Gender diversity has been an ongoing issue in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) with historically low representation of females. Is the COVID-19 pandemic negatively affecting women and pushing them further to the margins? Dr Marguerite Evans-Galea, a strong proponent and active promoter of women in all fields of work, especially STEM , will share her perspective and experience on how to effectively connect female scientists with industry. Join our fireside chat moderated by Jacyl Shaw, another bright example of a female innovation leader, and learn how we can collectively improve equity, diversity and inclusion across higher education and innovation, and the STEM disciplines in particular.
